Introduction
Most fiber optic passive products such as fiber splice closures and pole-mounted distribution boxes work outdoors all year round, facing extreme weather including high temperature baking in summer, low temperature freezing in winter, heavy rain immersion and sandstorm erosion. If the sealing and material performance fail to meet standards, water seepage and shell cracking will easily cause network interruption and huge engineering loss.
The equipment in this picture belongs to our dedicated environmental testing laboratory, including constant temperature & humidity test chamber, rain spray waterproof tester and aging test equipment. Every outdoor-type fiber communication product must go through mandatory testing in this workshop before leaving the factory.
Detailed Testing Items For Our Outdoor Products
- IP65 Waterproof Spraying Test Simulate heavy rainfall and water flushing environment to check the sealing performance of box cover, cable inlet and wiring holes of splice closure and distribution box, ensure no water intrusion inside the equipment after long-term outdoor exposure.
- High & Low Temperature Cycling Aging Test Set temperature range from -40℃ to +70℃ for cyclic alternating testing, verify whether the plastic shell, rubber sealing ring and internal optical components will deform, crack or have signal attenuation under extreme temperature difference, adapting to deployment in Southeast Asia, Middle East, Russia and other regions with drastic climate difference.
- Dustproof & Anti-UV Aging Test Accelerated ultraviolet aging test is carried out on the shell material to prevent embrittlement and yellowing of the shell after long-term sunlight exposure; closed dust test ensures that dust cannot enter the cavity to pollute optical fiber fusion points.
- Drop & Compression Resistance Test Simulate collision and extrusion during transportation and construction to confirm the mechanical strength of the product shell, reduce damage rate during ocean shipping and on-site installation.
Quality Commitment
We strictly implement full-batch sampling inspection for all bulk orders. Any products that fail environmental testing will be eliminated directly and will not flow into the delivery link. For quality problems caused by factory production defects, we provide free replacement and freight compensation as stated in our after-sales policy.
